Meet the Frozen Kiwi
We’re Teddy and Megan—the husband-and-wife duo behind The Frozen Kiwi—and we believe every event deserves a little extra joy. That’s why we show up with shaved ice, handcrafted drinks, and a vibe that gets people smiling before they even taste a thing.
Teddy’s roots run deep in small business. Raised in Missouri by a father who dabbled in everything from farming to flipping, he grew up learning how to build something from scratch. His sister even owns her own shaved ice business in St. Louis—so you could say cool treats run in the family.
Megan’s journey started in the kitchen. Homeschooled and hooked on baking from a young age, she went on to attend culinary school and run her own cake business. With over 10 years of experience in the culinary arts, she saw the food truck boom coming years ago—and together, we dreamed up a shaved ice truck with a little extra flair.
We launched in 2023 and haven’t looked back. In just a short time, we’ve served over 10,000 refreshing treats to families, students, and event-goers across Ocala and beyond.
We’re proud to be Gold Winners of the “Best of the 352” for Frozen Treats—not once, but twice—and approved by the Marion County School Board to cater on school grounds. That means we’re trusted, reliable, and passionate about what we do.
What makes it all worth it? Seeing someone snap a photo of their drink before they even take a sip. Watching guests post to Instagram and Facebook, showing off their colorful cups and glittery ice. Or our favorite—when someone takes that first taste, keeps walking, then whips their head around just to flash us a big smile. That’s the moments we live for.
We don’t just serve drinks. We serve up memories.
